A law professor at the University of Missouri has filed a lawsuit that challenges the school’s gun ban.

Royce de R. Barondes’ lawsuit argues that voters in Missouri approved a constitutional amendment last year that allows people to keep a gun in the passenger compartment of a vehicle.

The professor, who is being represented by one of his former students, Jennifer Bukowsky, talked to Brian Kilmeade this morning on “Fox and Friends.”

Eight states – Mississippi, Wisconsin, Kansas, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Colorado and Idaho – allow guns to be carried on public college campuses.

Barondes and Bukowsky said the university should respect state law and the Second Amendment.
