Second defendant in fatal January shooting pleads guilty to reduced charge

After more than seven months in the Boone County Jail for his part in the Jan. 2 shooting death of 23-year-old Dontay Tolston, Derrick Q. Copelin pleaded guilty Monday to a reduced charge and was sentenced to time served.
